Welcome to CHAD 👋 These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover how you use CHAD's AI-powered collaboration platform.

We've kept them in plain English so you don't need a lawyer to figure it out.

If you don't agree, don't use CHAD. Easy as that.

What CHAD Does

CHAD is your AI teammate for getting stuff done with others. Here's what's inside:

  • AI Conversations – Talk with models like GPT, Claude, and Gemini
  • Team Huddles – Group workspaces for chats, projects, and playbooks
  • Real-Time Messaging – With AI and human teammates in the mix
  • File Sharing – Upload docs, images, and files for everyone in the huddle
  • Tasks & Polls – Organize, vote, and keep track of what's next
  • Search & Memory – Find past conversations and files instantly

We aim for 24/7 availability, but sometimes downtime happens for updates, fixes, or emergencies.

Your Account & Responsibilities

• You must be 13+ (or the minimum age in your country).

• Use accurate info and keep your login secure.

• One personal account per person.

When using CHAD, you agree to:

  • Follow laws and respect others.
  • Keep things professional and safe.
  • Only use CHAD for legit purposes.
  • Protect sensitive info you share.
  • Report bugs/security issues responsibly.

Content You Share

You own the content you put into CHAD. But:

  • You're responsible for what you share.
  • Don't upload stuff you don't have the rights to.
  • Don't share harmful, illegal, or abusive content.

Prohibited Activities

To keep CHAD fun and safe, you can't:

  • Spread malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Hack, disrupt, or abuse our systems
  • Create fake accounts or impersonate others
  • Spam users or abuse chat features
  • Reverse engineer or resell CHAD without permission
  • Use CHAD to directly compete with CHAD

Subscriptions & Payments

  • Plans: Free, Premium, and Team tiers
  • Billing: Monthly or annual via Stripe
  • Currency: All prices in USD (unless noted)
  • Flexibility: Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime
  • Refunds: Available within 30 days for annual plans
  • Price Changes: We'll give you 30 days' notice

Failed payments may pause your access.

Intellectual Property

  • Our Rights: CHAD's software, design, and trademarks belong to us. You can use it, but you can't copy, modify, or resell it.
  • Your Rights: You keep ownership of your messages and files. You allow us to store, process, and back them up so CHAD works properly.
  • AI-Generated Content: You can use it, but we don't guarantee accuracy, originality, or copyright protection.

Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is serious business.

  • We don't sell your data.
  • We encrypt data in transit and at rest.
  • You can export or delete your data anytime.

Service Limitations & Disclaimers

  • CHAD is provided "as is". No guarantees of perfection.
  • We can't promise 100% uptime.
  • AI can be wrong, biased, or weird — double-check important info.
  • We're not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or third-party service issues.

Maximum liability: Whatever you paid us in the last 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

Ending Accounts

Your Choice: Cancel anytime in your account settings, or email us to delete your data.

Our Choice: We may suspend/terminate if you break the rules, don't pay, or create security risks.

When your account ends:

  • You lose access to CHAD.
  • We may delete your data after a reasonable time.
  • Outstanding payments still apply.

Disputes & Law

  • Try us first: [email protected] (we'll do our best to fix things informally).
  • Governed by the laws of Delaware, USA.

Changes to These Terms

If we change these Terms:

  • We'll update the date at the top.
  • Post the new version here.
  • Notify you in-app or by email if the changes are big.

If you keep using CHAD after changes, that means you accept them.

General Stuff

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms + Privacy Policy = the deal between you and CHAD.
  • Severability: If part of this is unenforceable, the rest still stands.
  • No Waiver: If we don't enforce something right away, we can still enforce it later.
